  • Holy Cow!
    Holy Cow!
    by Constanza Ehrenhaus

Aurora, virgin and martyr, was a good young heifer who devoted her life to the service of God, going against the will of her parents, being diligent in surprising others. Her complete devotion to this task brought death upon her, but she took it gladly for she knew she would be received in His glory if she kept faithful. When she saw the Cattle Tyrants coming to her she knew her moment was close, and she kept a beatific smile gladly knowing that she would soon reunite with the Lord. She is usually invoked by those who are surprised under the phrase "Holy Cow!!" and she smiles then.
