    Phoenix
    by Erika Harm

The phoenix is in many cultures and legends, but the name we use today is Greek, meaning deep red or crimson, "Phoenicia." This was originally for a T-shirt design contest I was too late to finish for, where I imagined the dead one would be on one side, the living on the other. Drawn with ink and colored digitally.
