Getting Started in Watercolor
Interview with Sue Miller
by Mayumi Ogihara
Many of you probably know the story of Medusa. She wasn't always an ugly creature. How she became a monster-like creature is a quite tragic story. That's why, instead of creating another art of vicious looking Medusa, I decided to drew something that symbolizes her beauty (the beautiful face) and the the tragedy (the snakes). Completed in pencil on 11X14 Bristol board.
