    EMG News
    by Ellen Million

EMG will be closed between 30 August and 10 September! I will be travelling to Dragon*Con, and have little to no Internet access during those days. You may still place orders through the webpage, but they will not be filled until I return.

    EMG Storefront

More Windowclings are now available, as artists log in and allow their designs to be produced on them. Where possible, mini-collections are also now available! These charming gifts have one card, one magnet, one sticker, and one mini-cling.

In the artist supply arena, I have a new kind of blank stock! 4 x 4 art papers!

    EMG-Zine

I am absolutely tickled to introduce new staff for EMG-Zine. First, Megan Myers is being promoted to Head Editor! She's been making me look good for months now, and I know she will continue to. R. Bail is our new art director - she will be handling all art submissions and organizing the art board. She helped me out enormously last month, and has always been ready for the odd jobs I throw at her! Deborah Grieves is now our graphic designer. She's done a lovely job with our wallpapers (often at the very, very last minute), and I'm handing over the design of the rest of our pages to her, as well.

The guidelines have been updated with current contact information for everyone, as well as more information for submitting artwork (plus prettied up in general).

I'm not abandoning the project, no worries! I will continue to write articles and contribute content, as well as play an active role behind the scenes. A big thank you to these folks for being able to shoulder some of my workload!

Other new goodies can be found in our menu, thanks to webmaster Janet! We have a calendar of events, and would love any suggestions you have for events and contests to add. You can even use the handy new Letters to the Editors feature which is in the menu under columns!

    Portrait Adoption

We've been fixing problems about as fast as they crop up, and I'd call the new site a great success! Enjoy the fast browsing and searching, as well as all the talented new artists, and new portraits! Adopting has never been so painless and tempting...

    Print Services

The new print services site has not been forgotten! It is still in beta testing, and I will tackle a few changes and adjustments when I get back from Dragon*Con before it becomes public.

Ellen Million has always had a passion for projects. Visit her site for prints and embarrassing archives.
