December 2006 - Angels
by Megan Myers![]() It's been a year already? They say time goes faster as you get older, but why can't it be during the boring things, like company-wide meetings about corporate synergy? Anyway, we're rounding out the year with a great issue, chock-full of interesting tidbits for you to enjoy as you take a break from holiday shopping (or from cursing the holidays, we go both ways!). Janet gives plenty of eco-friendly tips for the holiday season, Annie talks about getting action into your drawings, while Ursula tackles a much-fretted artistic element. The history of the lovely green pine is explained by Marina, Ellen helps us dissect just what all those things really mean when it comes to print making, and we've got, among others, a review of the luscious new James Bond flick. And don't forget to check out the angel-themed fiction and artwork! We're looking forward to the upcoming year of EMG-Zine, and we hope you are too! We're currently looking for submissions for our February issue. The theme is swine - yep, pigs. Pigs in art, dealing with piggish customers or clients, keeping your own art room to not look like a sty ... you get the idea. Other upcoming issue themes include Arabian Nights, Travel, and Music, so visit our Guidelines for Submission and shoot us an e-mail if you'd like to contribute! And as a final note, happy holidays to all, no matter which way you celebrate. ![]() Would you like to support our contributors?
