Going Green for Art Show Season
Yet More Dealing with Art Directors
Your Workspace and Work Habits
Creator and Destroyer
June 2007 - Sunby Megan Myers
Ah, June! When summer becomes official (at least in this hemisphere) and we're all slaves to the rays of the sun. And so this month, we're celebrating that big ball o' fire in the sky.
Ursula tells us more about working with art directors, Annie explains keeping your workspace healthy, and Janet discusses being green for the upcoming art show season. We also have a tutorial for painting a phoenix in watercolor, done by Melissa Acker.
The fiery cover image was proved by Laura Pelick, and of course, we've more sun-themed art in the galleries, and fiction as well, and Marina shows just how big a part fire has played in world mythology.
Our August theme is Cats, so if you are interested in contributing some feline work, please view our Guidelines.
Enjoy, and don't forget the SPF 40!
