    EMG Storefront

Have you been watching the EMG Storefront? We've got about 75 new designs up, and I'm pleased and delighted to introduce the following new artists: Patricia Ariel, Krista Cagg, Pierre Carles, Lisa Eshkanazi, Starla Friend, Jayde Hilliard, Gretchen Sveda, Maria van Bruggen, Caron Vinson. (Hopefully I didn't miss anyone...) Lots of your favorite artists have also had designs added to their galleries - be sure to check them out!

The threatened changes to magnets and stickers has occured! They are slightly cheaper and slightly smaller, now, and perfectly uniform in size. Additionally, I have added Gift Certificates. These certificates are good at any branch of EMG, including towards a nifty EMG-Zine subscription.

    Print Services

The Print Services page got a bit of a touch-up, including a new color proofing option, some shipping cost adjustments (actual cost plus $2, down from $3 on most orders), and the death of all extra transfer fees - credit card or paypal are now free!

If you're terribly observant, you've probably already noticed that there isn't a Portrait Adoption spotlight this month. I blame it on February being a very short month - I didn't go collect one from anybody. Sorry about that! Look for one next month. We are now collecting work for our May edition; the theme is space. Have you got useful tips for using negative space in a piece of artwork? Or maybe a lesson on how to organize your art space? You should write an article on it! Articles don't have to be strictly on-theme. We're also looking for themed fiction and artwork - and these don't have to be exclusive! Please see the 'zine guidelines for all the gory details.

    Portrait Adoption

Everytime I think I can't get more excited about the new webpage, I seem to find a way to... there is big progress being made in the coding, but still nothing to show off. Patience! In the meantime, many of our artists are available for commissions, and the old site is still open for adoptions.

Any comments, questions or suggestions? I'm always happy to hear them!
