February 2009 -- Humorby Jennifer Broschinsky
Welcome to the February, 2009 issue of EMG-Zine! This month we celebrate Humor.
Science fiction and fantasy sometimes seem too serious for their own good. It's good for us to take the occasional look at the lighter side of speculative fiction and fantasy. Because even in the worlds of high fantasy, sometimes, our paladins trip over their feet, our elves have bad hair days, and our dragons want to drink tea instead of properly fighting their knights like they're supposed to.
In this issue, Ursula Vernon tackles the issue of art avoidance, while Nicole Cadet gives us reasons why we shouldn't feel guilty when we DON'T get to our art. Missy Acker walks through an ink-and-watercolor cross-hatching piece. We also have a parcel of humorous fiction, art and comics. Enjoy!
