  • December 2009 -- Jungle
    by Jennifer Broschinsky

It's December (when did that happen?) and time for the last EMG-Zine issue of 2009. Our theme this month: Jungle!

Filled with all manner of creatures known and unknown, the deep Jungles of the world are some of the last unexplored frontiers left on Earth. Dangerous, captivating, keeping its own secrets... what better place to expect the unexpected, perhaps a last refuge of creatures mysterious and wonderful.

In this month's issue, Ursula discusses self publishing; Constanza interviews artist Louisa Gaille, Missy walks us through a collage gryphon, and Nicole discusses using RSS feeds. In a guest feature, Annie Rodrigue walks us through an ink wash piece of a dragon and a snow princess. We also have a reprint of "Woman on the Moon", a short story from November, which was accidentally published without an ending. (Sorry, Sarah!) Now you can read it in full! We also have Jungle-themed poetry, art and comics. Enjoy!

If you would like to submit work for our February issue, the theme is Tigers. Please read the guidelines before submitting.
