  • January 2010 -- Time
    by Jennifer Broschinsky

Welcome to 2010! And welcome to our first issue of the year, where our theme is Time!

Like a wheel, Time is constantly moving forward, continually aging and continually new. Time holds the secrets of our past and the mysteries of our future. Join with us as we explore its intricacies.

In this month's issue, Ursula looks back on her past decade; Constanza interviews artist Tiziano Baracchi; Missy walks us through another collage gryphon; and new columnist Annie Rodrigue introduces her new column, "Ask an Artist", with a tricky watercolor question. In a guest feature, Amy Edwards discusses finding new clients as a freelancer. We also have Time-themed fiction and art. Enjoy!

If you would like to submit work for our March issue, the theme is Dance. Please read the guidelines before submitting.

Jennifer Broschinsky has, since her youth, filled her sketchbooks with things feathered and furred, winged and scaled. She is currently working on a sequential art story called Songseeker, and is working on raising three sons.
