    Sketch Fest

On March 26th, we hosted a "Sketch Fest" creative jam. Rules of engagement were that no more than 1 hour could be spent on any piece, and otherwise, anything goes. The public gave us prompts and inspiration to work on the entire day, and between 19 artists, we created 75 pieces of artwork! You can see the log of the Fest here!

Join us next time, between Friday April 23rd at noon and Saturday 24th at noon. Bring prompts and pencils - if you want to be a participating artist, please sign up at the livejournal community - a sign-up entry will be posted about a week in advance of the event.

    Fantasy Art Store

    Meredith Dillman's paperdolls are in!

Also, the clearance page has been updated with some slightly dinged up coloring books.

The giftstore will be closed for the month of May! If there's anything you'd like to order, please make sure to do so before May 1!

    Portrait Adoption

    Check out the new work:

    Fantastic Portfolios

Our next chat is Sunday April 25th, noon-4 Alaska time, at our hosted chatroom. Topics will include discussion of the new Sketch Fests, and how to make them more fun, tools for commission-control.com to make commissions go more smoothly, and general discussion of making art.

    Torn World

Torn World posted 10 new stories, 4 new pieces of artwork and several characters and setting articles in March, be sure to check them out! At our last Muse Fusion, on March 16, we had 11 prompters and 7 participants, and we produced 16 stories (+1 outline), 1 article, 3 pieces of artwork and 8 poems, with 105 total comments. Wow! Our next Muse Fusion is 13 April, please join us at our livejournal community to get involved.

    EMG-Zine

It is with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye this month to Deborah Grieves, who has been doing our graphic design and wallpapers for several years! We'll miss the pretty she's been making us!

PS: Need some timezone help for our creative jams or chats? Here's what time it is in Alaska right now: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=81
